Waterside Community Council Meetings

Waterside Community Council normally meets once a month. At this open meeting, usually attended by our local councillors (John Jamieson, Stewart MacDonald and Susan Murray), we discuss issues, proposals and events of relevance to Waterside and Watersiders, and our councillors provide advice and take note of action points for the council. At these meetings, local residents have an opportunity to raise issues or to comment on matters of particular concern to them. There is often a police report too on incidents in the area.

Waterside Community Council meetings had been taking place at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month at Waterside Miners Club. However, with the very sad closure of the Miners Club in March 2020 and now COVID-19, community council meetings have moved to Zoom.
